## Frequently asked questions

**Will we lose our old emails?**
No. Emails, folders, contacts and calendars are migrated, and we check everything together after the move.

**Will email be down during the move?**
The move is planned so that no emails are lost. The final step is usually done in the evening or at the weekend.

**Which Microsoft 365 plan do we need?**
That depends on whether your staff need the desktop Office apps and on your security requirements. Business Basic or Business Standard is often enough. We'll look at your needs and recommend one.

**Our domain is registered with another company. Is that a problem?**
No. Wherever the domain is registered, we set up the necessary DNS records together with you or with your permission.

**Where is our data stored?**
In Microsoft data centres, encrypted. Sign-in is protected with two-factor authentication, and a leaver's access is closed straight away.
